Day 1: Kochi - Munnar

Arrive at Kochi Airport by 12 noon. On arrival, our representative will warmly welcome you and seamlessly drive you to Munnar. Munnar is a paradise situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and perched 1600 m above sea level. On the way, stop at Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls. Later, reach Munnar, checkin to a hotel and relax.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

Post breakfast, explore the beautiful hill-station of Munnar. Visit Flower Gardens, Photo Point, Pothamed Viewpoint, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Echo Point, and Ervikulum National Park

Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady

Go through the scenic route to reach Thekkady. Thekkady is famous for its wildlife, tea, coffee and all spices plantations. It has unending plantation gardens and one can literally smell the aroma of spices in the air. A visit to India's best wildlife sanctuaries will give you an experience that you won't forget. Make sure you take boat safari along the Periyar River for that mind-blowing experience.

Later, in the evening, go for Kalaripayatu and Kathakali shows. Learn about the traditions of Kerala through these shows. Drive to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Thekkady - Madurai

Post breakfast, we will drive to the temple town of Madurai. There are some good places to visit in Madurai in addition to the popular Meenakshi Temple. In the evening, we will checkin to a hotel and relax for the day.

Day 5: Madurai - Rameshwaram

After breakfast, we will checkout of hotel and go for a scenic drive to Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is an island and is connected to mainland via the popular Pamban Bridge. We will stop at the bridge to take a look at the marvellous architecture of the bridge.

Later, visit Dr. Abdul Kalam Memorial, a place that depicts the simple life lived by our ex-President Dr Abdul Kalam

Checkin to hotel and relax

Day 6: Rameshwaram Sightseeing

Long day today. Get up early in the morning to get a darshan of Spatika Linga. This darshan happens only for one hour very early in the morning. After the darshan, you can follow the rituals to visit the temple i.e., take bath is 22 wells of the temple. After freshening up, go for darshan at the temple. If you are interested to do any pooja, you can do the same.

Later return to the hotel for having breakfast. After breakfast we will go for Rameshwaram Sightseeing.

We will start the sightseeing by visiting Dhanushkodi, the abandonded or ghost town. This place was completely destroyed due to a cyclone in 1964. You can see some old remnants of the place. A lighthouse is also built here, and you can get an amazing view from the lighthouse.

Few kilometers further is the end point of India. Sri Lanka is just 28 kms from this place. This is the place where it is believed that during Ramayana, the stone bridge was built to reach Sri Lanka.

Later, return to the main town of Rameshwaram and visit some popular temples. You can also see floating stones here, which were believed to be used to build the bridge to Sri Lanka. How the stone floats is still a mystery. See it to believe it.

After a long day, it is time to get back to hotel.

Day 7: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari

Today, we will drive to Kanyakumari, the southern tip of mainland India. In the evening, we will reach Kanyakumari. Visit Kanyakumari Temple, Triveni Sangam, Gandhi Mandapam. Later, checkin to a hotel and relax

Day 8: Kanyakumari - Thiruvananthapuram

Start your day by watching a beautiful sunrise. Later visit Vivekananda Island. Checkout from hotel and drive towards Thiruvananthapuram. On the way visit Azhimala Temple and Poovar Backwaters.

Day 9: Thiruvananthapuram - Alleppey

Drive to Alleppey (now called Alappuzha). This region is popular for the backwaters. Popular mode of stay is in a moving houseboat. The houseboat travels through the lanes of backwaters providing and amazing experience. While sailing down a maze of canals you sees different scenes from the inland water village life, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life.

Day 10: Alleppey - Kochi

Drive from Alleppey to Kochi. Book a return flight / train late in the evening so that you get time to visit Fort Kochi.

Fort Kochi has a lot of attractions. Visit the Indo Portuguese Museum, Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Cemetery, St Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish town & Synagogue, Matancherry Palace (Dutch Palace).

Later, depending on your flight / train timings, you will be dropped to airport of railway station.
